چکیده

The influence of chained masonry walls, which represents a special case infill without gap, on the seismic response reinforced concrete buildings is extremely important due to their wide use in this type building. We can consider period building as key parameter study influence. In article, we had carried out comparative several 2D models multi-storey with brick wall using spectrum method ETABS finite element software, following prescriptions current Algerian code. This included number spans, span length, storeys, thickness wall, ground soft storey, openings and short column for studying these walls. values from numerical simulation were compared those formula building, provided by both European codes. Based results obtained, able assess walls buildings. Through have concluded that great overall behavior under loading.
